SIVIPA won gold and silver in Vinalies Internationales 2014

Three SIVIPA wines were awarded gold and silver in Paris, at the prestigious wine contest Vinalies Internationales ended at 5 March 2014. Held for 17 years by the Union des Œnologues de France, the competition is noted for its accuracy in blind tastings.This edition brought together nearly 3,500 wines from around the world, including the SIVIPA's - Sociedade Vinícola de Palmela.

The gold medal for Ameias Syrah 2013, a Regional Terras do Sado red wine repeated the feat of 2010, on the same event. And confirms the historic of awards and mentions that this Syrah grape varietal has received in previous vintages, such as the awards in International Wine Challenge in London and Bottled Wine Contest held by CVRPS Setúbal Peninsula. Also Personalizado, a red wine DOC Palmela, made from local grape variety Castelão ( Periquita ) was highlighted with a silver medal.

Finally, once again SIVIPA'S Moscatel Roxo 2010 won a major award, which promises to continue the success of this fortified wine made from rare local muscat grapes. In the previous vintage it won gold among the best in the competition Muscats du Monde.
